Earl Spencer told followers that he won a legal victory against The Times newspaper on Thursday after The Times published a story accusing the Earl of ‘depriving’ his sister, Princess Diana, of a home after her separation from Prince Charles.
“Actually, ‘The Crown’ asked if they could film at Althorp and I said obviously not. The worry for me is that people see a program like that, and they forget that it is fiction,” Charles Spencer stresses.
“Diana was the very essence of compassion, of duty, of style, of beauty. All over the world she was a symbol of selfless humanity. All over the world, a standard bearer for the rights of the truly downtrodden, a very British girl who transcended nationality. Someone with a natural nobility who was classless and who proved in the last year that she needed no royal title to continue to generate her particular brand of magic.”
Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer is said to be thrilled! “So happy for my daughter, Amelia, engaged to her boyfriend of 11 years, Greg – it’s wonderful to hear them both so excited about their future,” the proud father shares. “Sending them both love, and every good wish for their life together.
