It seems like no one talks to Thomas Markle… as much as the British tabloids do. Although this time he’s coming with some fatherly advice in tow.
In reaction to the new book about Harry and Meghan, Finding Freedom, which offers some one sided insight into Daddy Markle’s charades around the royal wedding, Mr. Markle tells The Sun, “This is the worst time in the world for them to be whining – people everywhere are suffering due to the pandemic.”
Nearly half the U.S. population is currently without a job. Google’s COVID-19 statistics report that over 655K people have died across the globe. But according to Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, Kate wouldn’t make eye contact with Meghan at Commonwealth Day.
While it was initially reported that Harry and Meghan cooperated with the authors, the Sussexes now insist that they did not contribute to the tell-all. Mr. Markle bemoaned, “I love my daughter but I really don’t appreciate what she’s become right now.”
Finding Freedom delves into the chaos surrounding Meghan Markle’s family leading up to the royal wedding. The book states that Thomas Markle lied to his daughter multiple times about staged paparazzi photos and says that it was Thomas Markle that cut Meghan off, not the other way around.
In one highly debated passage released by the Times, the authors discuss Meghan in the bathtub chatting with a friend via Facetime over her disappointment in her father. Critics argue that the details are too intimate not be shared by a Sussex.
What else will Finding Freedom reveal? We’ll have to wait until August 11th to find out.
