Today is Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom. Prince William and Kate Middleton gave us the sweetest surprise by sharing that, “Each year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte, and Louis make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William.”

Princess Charlotte says, in her perfectly precious handwriting, “I love you very much. Papa is missing you.” Prince George writes, “I love you very much and think of you always.” While Baby Louis shows off his watercolor skills. I’m not crying, you’re crying.

The Cambridges wanted to acknowledge those experiencing bereavement and understand that, “today may be particularly challenging.” They write, “Whatever your circumstances, we are thinking of you this Mother’s Day ?”

There are also some sweet treats sitting around Kate Middleton’s kitchen! Take a look at the cake that George, Charlotte, and Louis made for their Mum! Are those M&Ms and sprinkles?! Yes! Please.

Update: Prince Harry‘s representative let media know that he had flowers sent to Princess Diana’s grave for Mother’s Day.
