Prince Harry and Meghan Markle distribute school supplies to Los Angeles families

On August 20, Los Angeles County hit 5,446 deaths due to COVID-19. The unemployment rate remains historically high, while the poverty rate in LA and surrounding areas lingers over 13%.

With that in mind, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle partnered with Los Angeles based Baby2Baby. According to their website, since COVID-19, “Baby2Baby has distributed over 30 million essential items to some of the most vulnerable children across the country impacted by the pandemic.”

Baby2Baby ambassadors include Jessica Alba, Drew Barrymore, Julie Bowen, Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie, and Kelly Rowland.

Prince Harry and Meghan handed out school supplies, clothes and diapers to families in need at a popup drive-thru in Los Angeles on Friday.
