Princess Diana’s death – Can celebrities feel when we mourn them after they die

Bloody Mary’s Haunted Museum in New Orleans is world famous and provides ghost hunting, séances, psychic readings, PET psychic readings, and a DIY VooDoo doll bar! I met VooDoo Queen Bloody Mary two years ago when she gave me a tour of her haunted museum.

Spending the day with her, I found her stories fascinating. We talked about how a spirit reached out to her when she was in Los Angeles. The woman had been murdered and was eager to make a friend out of Bloody Mary. After a little digging, Bloody Mary realized that the murdered spirit she was talking to was Elizabeth Short. The Black Dahlia.

Something else I found fascinating, Bloody Mary telling me that she could feel the spirits of the many pets left behind during Hurricane Katrina. She said that she is sometimes overwhelmed by the lost abandoned animals.

Bloody Mary is as close as I have to an expert on… death. With the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death approaching, I wanted to know, can celebrities feel when strangers mourn their death? Do they know that we are hurting for them? That they made an impact? That they mattered?

“In general there are many theories about grieving. Many cultures believe that grieving might actually make the dead stay earthbound longer to comfort those left behind,” says the VooDoo Queen. “Especially someone like Princess Diana.”

But Diana’s eagerness to comfort is not the only reason a spirit might linger… “Tragic deaths, unexpected death, those instances already have the dead staying close, in shock. Trying to figure it all out,” she explains. “In the case of Princess Diana, with such huge collective grieving going on, that would certainly have been felt, and possibly helped her.”

“Feeling the love part is an important part of transitioning, so they can use that energy to continue on in their soul evolution after death. I do believe in reincarnation and many cultures believe they come back in the same bloodline. So, be on the lookout for some feisty royal children! Wise above their years!”

There is something comforting about imagining those we admire feeling our heavy hearts over their loss. Princess Diana died in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997. We still miss her every day.
