Does Kristen Stewart sound like Princess Diana?

It was only yesterday that we were telling you about CinemaCon getting a sneak peek at Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana in Spencer but GUESS WHAT? NEON released the first official trailer publicly this AM and we’ve already watched it 7,000 times.

As we know from previous interviews, Kristen was anxious about nailing Princess Diana’s delicate tone, “The accent is intimidating as all hell because people know that voice, and it’s so, so distinct and particular.” You can hear Kristen speak as Princess Diana around the :58 mark of the video below.

Spencer is set over a three-day period in December of 1991 and will explore Princess Diana’s final Christmas holiday with the royal family. In the movie, this is really where she decides her marriage to Prince Charles is irrevocably damaged. The Spencer synopsis reads, “December 1991: The Prince and Princess of Wales’ marriage has long since grown cold. Though rumors of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at Sandringham Estate. There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be profoundly different.” It ends, “Spencer is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.”

Spencer is set to be released on November 5th, only in theaters!
