Free event: Creating Princess Diana-inspired costumes for Kristen Stewart in ‘Spencer’ – Jacqueline Durran

What are you doing January 20th? Fancy a date with Spencer costume designer Jacqueline Durran? Jacqueline has been celebrated for her stellar costume design after she recreated some of Princess Diana‘s fiercest looks throughout the movie Spencer.

On Thursday, January 20th she will sit down with Kevin Jones, the curator of the FIDM Museum, to discuss Kristen Stewart‘s Chanel-infused garb that dominated the conversation upon the release of the critically-acclaimed film.

The Oscar-Winner will also participate in a Q&A session. Tickets are free, you just have to sign up at their Eventbrite link. The virtual event starts at 6 pm MST and will last for an hour. The description promises that you’ll “learn how Jacqueline developed and designed the signature costumes for the cast.”

According to her bio, “Jacqueline has won Best Costume Design for films Anna Karenina and Little Women, and has been an Oscar Award Nominee seven times, for films including Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, Mr. Turner, Beauty and the Beast, and Darkest Hour.”
